About us
Il-Barrag Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast is located at the hill top village of Nadur, on the charming island of Gozo, Malta.
The importance of the property lies within its uniqueness on the island of Gozo. Composed of a 400 year old farmhouse alongside a 200 year old townhouse the B&B offers a time travel experience to all its guests.
The accommodation is run by a young Gozitan couple which are happy to share their experience and secrets about the many myths of Gozo and all of its history.
The Envirnment
At Il-Barrag Farmhouse B&B, we have the environment at heart. The importance of the nature around us is of great concern, so we perform our daily practice in a way to reduce the negative footprint on the environment.
Electricity
Most of the B&B's electrical usage is provided by green renewable solar energy.
Water
Il-Barrag Farmhouse B&B has its own privat underground water supply.
Food
Food is gathered from the local farmers and household to sustain the local economy.
Breakfast
The breakfast is prepared daily to provide the best service and reduce wastage.
Waste
Garbage is sorted at source to be recycled and reused whenever possible.

It is an old restored farmhouse which is very warm. You have access to the lounge and a terrace where there are drinks and food available

A 400 year old farm house, you don’t get more authentic than that! The hosts were incredible, and the room was amazing. It’s situated in a great town with some brilliant restaurants.
